A Harrison County deputy observed a black Harley traveling west on the service road of South I-20 near Loop 281 at a high rate of speed on Saturday, April 13th. The deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop by activating his emergency lights. However, the motorcycle accelerated and began driving in the opposite lane to evade being stopped.
The deputy pursued the motorcycle into Rusk County around the Lake Cherokee area. Eventually, the motorcycle stopped due to motor problems. The suspect, identified as 19-year-old Zackary Michael Estrada of Longview, was taken into custody for Evading Arrest.
