Harrison County Deputies responded to a dispute call on April 4, 2024, at a residence on the 1400 block of Buchanan Rd in Hallsville, Texas. The call was made by a complainant reporting a disagreement with her son, Zachariah Sudduth, over money matters. The complainant stated she was receiving harassing and threatening calls and texts from Sudduth, who resides on the same property, and was intentionally creating noise to disturb her. Upon arrival, deputies collected evidence of the harassing communications.
Zachariah Edward Sudduth, aged 38, was subsequently arrested and taken to the Harrison County Jail. During transportation, deputies rerouted to a hospital to provide Sudduth with stitches for injuries sustained from banging his head on the metal cage of the patrol unit. Sudduth faces charges of Harassment and Terroristic Threat Against a Family Member.
