The report prompted immediate investigation by both officers and detectives, ultimately confirming the validity of the threat.
Subsequently, law enforcement apprehended the student responsible for the felony offense of "Terroristic Threat," off school premises without any incident. The individual was transported to the Gregg County Juvenile Detention Center. School officials were promptly informed of the situation.
