Paris Police arrested Dericka Latriece Gray, 39, on Thursday, March 28, at 1:37 pm. The arrest took place at the 600 block of SW 7th Street on an outstanding Felony Abandon Endanger Child With Intent To Return Warrant.
The warrant was issued for an offense in January 2024 when a shoeless three-year-old male was found in the 300 block of E. Price Street during temperatures in the mid-forties.
The child was observed running down the sidewalk, crying out, “Help me find my mom.”
Gray was booked into the Paris Jail following the arrest.
