Wood County Deputy Apprehends Suspects on Multiple Felony Warrants: Burglary and Child Sexual Assault Charges

A Wood County Deputy arrested two individuals on March 26, 2024, for outstanding warrants during a warrant service at Adult Probation.

Jesse William Andrew Weems was apprehended for an outstanding warrant related to a 2022 1st-degree felony case in Winnsboro, charged with Burglary Habitation Intend Other Felony. Weems' bond was set at $100,000, and his trial is slated to commence on May 6, 2024.

Kevin Ray Larsson, a resident of Gilmer, was arrested for four outstanding warrants. The warrants include three counts of Indecency with a Child - Sexual Conduct and one count of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, stemming from a 2019 incident. The warrant was issued by the 402nd Judicial District Court in Quitman, Texas. Larsson's total bond was set at $500,000, and he was indicted on February 26, 2024.

Larsson had agreed to certain conditions including reporting to Wood County Community Supervision, random testing, avoiding all contact with the victim, refraining from drug use, and not committing any new offenses. However, due to failure to comply with these conditions, a warrant was issued. An arraignment hearing for Larsson has been scheduled for May 3, 2024.
