On March 25, 2024, a Wood County Deputy responded to an EMS assist, finding that the subject had already been transported by EMS.
According to EMS, the subject had sustained a laceration to her head from a fall.
The Deputy spoke with the victim’s grandmother, who claimed that the victim had jumped out of a vehicle to escape from a man who was allegedly assaulting her.
Upon further investigation, the Deputy located clothing in the roadway along with blood from the victim. However, the victim refused to provide any information. Consequently, the case will be forwarded to investigations for further examination.
