Polk County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Detectives were conducting traffic enforcement near FM 3126 and Alabama Point on March 26, 2024, when Dispatch alerted them about a maroon truck involved in a road rage incident where a firearm was reportedly pointed at another driver.
Detectives spotted the truck on FM 3126 and initiated a traffic stop. The driver, identified as Sterling Boyd Martin, 26, from Livingston, TX, was detained and subsequently arrested. Martin faces charges including Deadly Conduct, Resisting Arrest/Search/or Transport, and Unlawful Carry of a Firearm.
