Intoxicated Teen Arrested in Paris After Driving with Open Passenger Door

In Paris, Texas, a vehicle stop on Saturday, March 23rd, led to the arrest of 17-year-old Saylor Jet Semple in the 3200 block of Lamar Avenue. Semple was driving a vehicle with the passenger door being held open by passengers. Paris Police officers discovered Semple, who claimed to be the designated driver, was intoxicated, along with the two passengers. Semple was charged with DWI, while the two ill passengers were released to a parent. Semple's bond was set at $2,500.
