High-Speed Chase Ends in Arrest: Harrison County Deputy Apprehends Suspect

Brian Dewayne Randle

In an incident on Sue Bell Lake Rd on the outskirts of Marshall, a Harrison County deputy spotted a vehicle attempting to evade capture. The vehicle, driven by 46-year-old Brian Dewayne Randle from Linden, was speeding, leading the deputy on a pursuit. Randle turned onto an oil lease road, finding the gate locked, but the deputy managed to catch up and initiate a traffic stop. As the deputy exited his vehicle, Randle accelerated away, eventually losing control on Blackjack Rd and ending up in a ditch.

Randle fled on foot into a nearby pasture, but the deputy swiftly apprehended him. Upon searching Randle, a small bag of marijuana was found in his backpack. Additionally, a pistol and rifle were discovered inside the vehicle. Randle was taken into custody by the Harrison County authorities.
