Two people were killed in a tragic two-vehicle accident on Tuesday, March 19, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The incident took place shortly before 10 p.m. on U.S. Highway 59, approximately four miles south of Texarkana.
Reports indicate that Natasha E. Brewer, 48, was driving a Kia Telluride SUV southbound when she veered into the northbound lane, colliding with a Chevrolet Tahoe SUV driven by Jason L. Foster, 56.
Both drivers, who were wearing seatbelts at the time, were pronounced dead at the scene. The Texas Department of Public Safety is currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
