The Panola County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division, in collaboration with the Panola County Criminal District Attorney's Office, has been conducting an ongoing investigation in the City of Beckville.
On Monday, March 11, 2024, the PCSO Special Response Team, Constables Ivy and Lagrone, and PCSO Deputies executed two search warrants authorized by 123rd Judicial District Judge LeAnn Kay Rafferty. The search took place at residences on Jasmine and Smith Streets in Beckville.
During the searches, suspected methamphetamine, related paraphernalia such as measurement and packing implements, and approximately thirty firearms were recovered. Additionally, two juveniles were found at the scene and subsequently released to their guardians. Child Protective Services was notified.
Gregory Wayne Foster, 52 years old, was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 4-200 grams, Abandoning/Endangering a Child, and Tampering with Identification Numbers.
Brittany Margene Bennett, 34 years old, was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 4-200 grams, and Abandoning/Endangering a Child.
Chad Allen Gibson, also 34 years old, faced charges of Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, less than 1 gram, Abandoning/Endangering a Child, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
