The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is set to host an informational meeting regarding a proposed concrete plant near Quinlan. The meeting, organized by TCEQ's Office of the Chief Clerk, will focus on Caddor Mills-based Dry Creek Materials LLC's proposed Air Quality Standard Permit, Registration No. 174388.
The proposed permit would authorize the construction of a permanent rock crushing facility in Quinlan, located at 4310 W. State Hwy. 276, west of the town. TCEQ Staff members will provide details about the proposed plant and address any questions from attendees. However, formal comments on the permit application will not be recorded during the meeting.
Instead, individuals are encouraged to submit their comments via mail or electronically through the TCEQ website. The public meeting is scheduled for Thu. March 21 at 7 p.m. at the Ford High School Auditorium, located at 10064 State Highway Spur 264, Quinlan, Texas 75474.
