Wood County law enforcement responded to a disturbance call on March 2, 2024, in Como, Texas. Corporal Rapp and Deputy Comeaux arrived at the scene on FM 69, where a male was reported to have assaulted his 76-year-old mother by choking her.
After speaking with the victim, authorities arrested 43-year-old Tavaris Anton King of Quitman for family violence impeding breath. His bond was set at $30,000. On March 3rd, he posted bail and was released.
