On March 6, 2024, the Gregg County Organized Drug Enforcement Unit (CODE) conducted a narcotics search at the Super 8 Motel situated at 3304 S Eastman Rd, Longview, Texas. Illegal narcotics were found during the operation, leading to the arrest of Quincy Mitchell (45) from Longview. Mitchell was taken into custody and transferred to the Gregg County Jail without any complications. He faces charges of Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG1 1<4 grams.
Two days later, on March 8, 2024, the CODE unit, with support from the Longview/Gregg County SWAT Team, executed another narcotics search warrant in the 2400 block of South 14th Street. Once again, illegal narcotics were discovered during the search. Richard Robertson (57) of Longview was apprehended and transported to the Gregg County Jail without any issues. Robertson has been charged with Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1 4g<200g and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
