A 17-year-old male named Jason Hubbard was found dead in an apartment on College Drive in Texarkana, Texas, in the early hours of the morning. Texarkana Police Department responded to a call at approximately 1:30 am and discovered Hubbard's body inside the apartment.
A 16-year-old juvenile, whose name has not been released, was arrested by officers at the scene and taken into custody. It is believed that the victim and the juvenile were friends.
The gun recovered from the scene had been reported stolen in Hope, Arkansas, prior to the incident. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
