Rusk County Sheriff Seeks Public Help in Identifying Theft Suspects

 

The Rusk County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying individuals involved in recent thefts near Tatum, Texas.

The image included in this article depicts unknown individuals that removed a red in color Polaris Ranger UTV and a white in color Polaris Ranger UTV from the property without the effective consent of the owner.

During a follow-up investigation conducted by The Rusk County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division the red in color Polaris Ranger was located concealed in a wooded area several miles from the site of the reported theft and recovered.

An extensive search of the wooded area utilizing both ground and air assets resulted in no further stolen property being located or suspected persons identified. The owner of the reported stolen property is offering a $10,000 reward for any information which results in the arrest and indictment of the suspected parties in this case.
