In Lamar County, 57-year-old George Young from Paris has been sentenced to 50 years in prison after pleading guilty to Aggravated Robbery.
According to court documents, Young held up an antique store at gunpoint, making off with $70. He then used the stolen money to pay off a fine at the courthouse.
Paris Police Detectives later arrested Young at his home.
Records show Young has previous convictions spanning over the last 40 years for crimes including car theft, aggravated robbery, escape, arson, and burglary.
