In the late hours of Sunday night, Paris Police officers took 31-year-old Damian Demond Wilburn into custody at approximately 10:39 pm on February 18, 2024. The arrest occurred in the 100 block of E. Provine.
Upon making contact with Wilburn, officers discovered that he was in possession of a firearm that had been reported stolen by its owner in 2023.
Given Wilburn's status as a convicted felon, he was charged with Unlawful Carrying of a firearm. Additionally, he had an outstanding warrant for drug paraphernalia from Delta County.
