The Forney City Council has given the green light to a $350,000 performance incentive agreement for Slicks Entertainment, an upcoming bowling, entertainment, and restaurant venture in Trailhouse Park.
Trailhouse Park, situated north of U.S. Highway 80 and northwest of Kohls, is a bustling development comprising apartments, townhomes, medical offices, a hotel, and various retail and restaurant pads.
The centerpiece of this development is the 30,000-square-foot Slicks Entertainment venue, which promises to offer a 16-lane bowling alley, an upscale restaurant, bar, games, and four pickleball courts. Positioned as the heart of the development, Slicks Entertainment aims to be the go-to spot for leisure activities.
The incentive agreement was approved by the Forney Economic Development Corporation during their January meeting and subsequently endorsed by the Forney City Council during their February 6, 2024, session.
In addition to the entertainment complex, the Trailhouse Park developer has announced plans for a mile-long hike and bike trail, seamlessly integrated into the live-work-play concept of the master-planned community. Further enhancements include a park designed for hosting outdoor events.
