A peculiar incident unfolded in the 1700 block of N. Main when a Paris Police officer intervened in what appeared to be a confrontation between two individuals. According to reports, one of the subjects involved, later identified as 21-year-old Elijah Andrew Stollings of Chapmanville, WV, was found to be intoxicated.
Upon questioning, Stollings allegedly refused to disclose his identity to the officers, instead claiming to be "John F. Kennedy." Consequently, he was charged with Failure to Identify for providing false information to law enforcement.
This wasn't Stollings' first encounter with the Paris Police. Records indicate that on December 15, 2023, he was previously arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI).
Following his latest altercation, Stollings' bond was set at $1,000 as he awaits further legal proceedings.
