Paris Police Officers responded to a disturbance on Lamar Street on Sunday, February 11, 2024, resulting in the arrest of a 15-year-old girl for assaulting a family member.
The suspect instigated a commotion upon arrival at the residence and proceeded to enter the victim's home without permission, subsequently locking the homeowner out. Despite officers' attempts to engage with the suspect in the backyard, she adamantly refused. As the situation escalated, she resisted arrest, leading to her being subdued and taken into custody.
Charges of Criminal Trespassing, Assault, and Resisting Arrest were levied against her before she was released to a family member following booking.
