Kaufman County Sheriff Bryan Beavers announced today that the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Detention Facility has once again passed its annual inspection, meeting all 600+ requirements mandated by the Texas Commission on Jail Standards. This achievement marks the 19th consecutive year the facility has received state certification.
In a statement, Sheriff Beavers expressed great pride in the accomplishment, attributing it to the hard work, commitment, and pride of the facility's staff. He extended gratitude to the Detention Staff and maintenance personnel for their dedication and professionalism, emphasizing their role in ensuring the facility's success.
Despite the challenges posed by constantly changing regulations and staffing shortages, the Detention Staff have been commended for their outstanding performance. Sheriff Beavers thanked everyone involved for their contributions toward the successful inspection.
