Deputies Arrest Suspect with Outstanding Warrant and Drug Possession in Henderson County

On Sunday, February 4th, 2024, Deputy McGee and Deputy Timothy Tanner from the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office carried out a warrant service at 10911 FM 3441, Malakoff, TX, 75148.

Upon their arrival, Deputy McGee noticed a white male, identified as Kelly Ivy, walking towards a trailer house at the rear of the property. The deputies approached and made contact with Ivy, who was sporting an orange shirt, black pants, and a ballcap.

Upon identification, it was discovered that Ivy had an outstanding warrant for Evading Arrest with Prior Conviction in Malakoff. He was promptly placed in hand restraints to address the warrant. During the arrest, authorities found Ivy to be in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.

Subsequently, Ivy was taken into custody and transported to the Henderson County Jail. He now faces charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana in addition to the existing warrant for Evading Arrest with Prior Conviction.
