Three suspects have been apprehended in connection with a crime spree that occurred on Saturday, February 3, 2024, across Forney and its surrounding areas in Kaufman County.
Forney Criminal Investigations Detectives, after an exhaustive inquiry, successfully identified and located the suspects. The individuals are currently held in the Forney City Jail, awaiting arraignment on charges of State Jail Felony Burglary of a Building. The incident unfolded early Saturday morning when members of the patrol section responded to a burglary alarm at 418 Pinson Avenue, Smoke Magic. Upon arrival, officers observed signs of forced entry into the business, prompting the involvement of the Criminal Investigations Section to assist in the case.
Through collaborative efforts between the patrol and criminal investigations sections, several individuals are now in custody. The ongoing investigation assures the public that there is no perceived active threat to the community at this time.
