On January 28th at around 10:00 am, Tyler Police Department officers were dispatched to a shooting incident in the 600 block of S. Palmer Ave. Upon arrival, officers discovered an older male juvenile victim who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Immediate medical treatment was administered by officers until Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived. The victim was subsequently transported to UT Main on Beckham and is currently in critical condition.
The Tyler PD deployed officers, detectives, and crime scene investigators to the location, and the incident remains under active investigation. Anyone with information related to this case is urged to contact the Tyler Police Department at 903-531-1000.
