In a recent incident, Kilgore Police Officers successfully concluded a pursuit, leading to the arrest of a fleeing suspect. The pursuit, initiated by Officer B. Upshaw, extended into South Longview, prompting the involvement of Gregg County Deputies and a DPS Trooper.
During the pursuit, the DPS Trooper executed a pit maneuver, effectively bringing the chase to a halt and facilitating the apprehension of the suspect.
The Kilgore Police Department posted a succinct message following the incident, stating, "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime in Kilgore."
