The Tyler Police Department reported a missing/runaway child on January 11th at approximately 6:30pm. The incident occurred earlier that day at around 3:45pm when a 9-year-old child jumped out of a family member's vehicle at an apartment complex on 420 S. Fleishel Ave. The child left on foot in an unknown direction.
Officers initiated a search of the area to locate the missing child, identified as Jordan.
Tyler Police posted an update saying that they had located Jordan safe. An investigation is ongoing as to the reason Jordan decided to runaway.
