The two individuals who fell victim to a shooting incident on Sunday, January 14, 2024, have been named as 18-year-old Alan Jesus Chavez and 17-year-old Ruben Santibanez Arzola, both residents of Wylie.
Garland Police detectives believe there is connection between the victims and the unidentified suspect.
Responding to a shooting call at approximately 3:15 pm on January 14, 2024, Garland Officers arrived at the 2300 block of West Buckingham Road. Emergency services, including the Garland Police Department and Garland Fire Department, found Alan Jesus Chavez and Ruben Santibanez Arzola with gunshot wounds inflicted by an unknown assailant.
Despite medical efforts, both victims succumbed to their injuries. The perpetrator fled the scene in an unspecified vehicle.
