On Monday morning at 8:47 am, Paris Police officers responded to a report of Criminal Mischief at a Warming Center located in the 3500 block of Lamar.
The facility administrator informed officers that 29-year-old Johnathan Lee Glass had intentionally damaged furnishings in the restroom. Glass, who claimed to be homeless, had been seeking shelter at the facility due to cold weather conditions.
Despite the administrator's decision not to press charges, they requested Glass to vacate the premises. However, Glass refused to comply with the officers' orders to leave. Consequently, he was arrested for Criminal Trespassing and subsequently transported to Lamar County Jail.
