Paris Police Officers responded to a disturbance at Paris Regional Medical involving Tristahnya Nechel-Le Jackson. Jackson was in a confrontation with hospital personnel, preventing access to a patient room by shutting the door. Hospital staff sought her removal from the property, resulting in police involvement.
While officers were handling a separate incident with another patient, Jackson physically interfered by striking, grabbing, and kicking at them. During attempts to restrain her, Jackson also tried to take a weapon from one of the officers.
Subsequently, Jackson was taken into custody and is facing charges including Criminal Trespass, Interference with duties of a Public Servant, Resisting Arrest or Transport, Assault of a Public Servant, and Attempting to Take a Weapon from a Police Officer.
