Paris Police Officers responded to a disturbance in the 700 block of Bonham St. where they made contact with 35-year-old Crystal Star Cox.
Cox's boyfriend informed officers that she had assaulted him and intentionally choked him. Physical evidence supporting the assault was observed.
Cox was subsequently arrested for Assault Family Violence by Impeding Breath and later transported to Lamar County Jail.
