The first incident was reported around 1 a.m. in the 100 block of Wandering Way, not far from the location of the second shooting later in the day. Forney police responded to reports of gunshots in the area but confirmed that no injuries were reported. Security cameras captured footage of multiple individuals firing shots at a residence during the initial incident.

The second shooting took place around 10:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Lonesome Dove Lane and Ridgecrest. Residents in the area were notified by the Forney Police Department of a confirmed shooting, and a significant police presence was established. A helicopter was deployed to aid investigators as they worked to piece together the circumstances surrounding the incident and identify possible suspect(s).

Residents were advised to avoid the area and stay in their residences if possible. The department encouraged individuals to report any suspicious activity immediately to the Forney Police Department via 911. As of the latest update, officers are still conducting the investigation, including speaking with witnesses, and a continued police presence is maintained in the affected area.
