The Texarkana Police Department has apprehended two individuals in connection with the fatal crash that occurred on December 18th at the intersection of N. Stateline Ave and Hazel St.
Christopher Daniel, 25, and Robert Culpepper, 23, have both been charged with Racing on the Highway Involving Death. Following their arrest, they were booked into the Bi-State Jail. Each of their bonds has been set at $1,000,000.
The tragic incident claimed the life of Linda Reed, 66, who was fatally struck while attempting to cross North Stateline Avenue from East 9th Street to Hazel Street around 7:20 that night. The investigation revealed that both Culpepper and Daniel were driving southbound on Stateline at an extremely high rate of speed at the time of the collision.
