Harrison County Sheriff's Office Night shift officers swiftly responded to a call regarding Assault Family Violence at an address on PR 3439. The alleged perpetrator, 37-year-old Jessie Gibson of Longview, managed to flee the scene before deputies arrived. However, upon checking Gibson's information, it was discovered that he had two outstanding warrants, one within Harrison County and another in Morris County.
A concerned individual informed the agency that Gibson had contacted him, requesting assistance to be picked up from the woods. Deputies tracked the individual, leading them to observe Gibson entering a vehicle off of Loop 281. Subsequently, a routine traffic stop was conducted, resulting in Gibson being taken into custody without incident. He was then transported to the Harrison County Main Jail, where he will face charges related to the outstanding warrants and the Assault Family Violence incident.
