Paris Police Department made several arrests and responded to incidents over the weekend.

Disturbance on East Cherry St.: On Sunday at 11:00 pm, officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 2100 block of East Cherry St. Connie Darlene Kelly, 68, was found at the scene and appeared to be under the influence. After volunteering to a search, she was found in possession of Methamphetamine and subsequently arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Security Check on Clarksville St.: At 12:30 on Sunday morning, officers responded to a security check in the 800 block of Clarksville St. Johnny Rudolph Villines, 32, was one of three individuals stopped in a vehicle leaving the area. Villines was found in possession of prescription medications without a valid prescription and was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Stolen Vehicle on N. Main: Last Friday morning, the owner reported a stolen 2006 Silver Ram 3500 with a green stripe and yellow toolbox from the 2000 block of N. Main. The theft, captured on video at 11:58 am on December 31, 2023, was initially believed to be related to an employee. The vehicle has been entered as stolen, and the investigation is ongoing.

Burglary on Deshong: On Friday afternoon at 1:15, officers responded to a burglary at 865 Deshong. A suspect entered a closed lab or suite and stole a laptop computer valued at $2,200. Numerous pieces of evidence were collected at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.

Robbery on S. Church: Friday night at 8:09, officers dealt with a robbery in the 2700 block of S. Church. Four suspects entered a business, distracting clerks while stealing numerous containers of lottery tickets. The police gathered evidence, including potential suspect identities, and the investigation is ongoing.
