In Paris, a police officer attempted to pull over a speeding vehicle on Saturday afternoon, January 6, 2024, at 12:21 in the 1100 block of SE 33rd St.
The driver, identified as 51-year-old Micka Earlettie Bobo failed to respond to the patrol vehicle's lights and siren. The pursuit continued until the driver reached an address in the 1700 block of Jackson St.
Bobo admitted to evading arrest, stating she didn't want to stop because she was aware of outstanding warrants and didn't want her vehicle towed. She has been charged with outstanding traffic warrants and Evading Arrest with a Vehicle, a felony.
