On New Year's Eve, an armed robbery occurred at the EZ Mart in the 3000 block of Clarksville Street. According to a statement from a convenience store employee, two unidentified suspects, described as Hispanic males, held him at gunpoint during the incident.
One of the suspects, wearing a blue hoodie and a dark-colored face mask, brandished a silver handgun with a black handle, pointing it at the victim. The second suspect, dressed in a white hoodie, dark face mask, and yellow gloves, proceeded to walk behind the store counter and took money from the cash register.
The suspects fled on foot toward an apartment complex before officers arrived, making off with approximately $65.
