On December 31, 2023, Harrison County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a disturbance on Russell Driver in Longview following a report of a neighbor firing weapons in an unsafe manner. The incident escalated when two projectiles entered a residence, narrowly missing a family member of the complainant.
Upon arrival, law enforcement launched an investigation, resulting in the arrest of 25-year-old Aaron Lee Calderon of Longview. Calderon faces charges of Deadly Conduct and Discharge Firearm. Additionally, 31-year-old Stormy Arlene Nicholson of Gladewater was taken into custody at the scene for allegedly interfering with Public Duties.
