In a routine traffic stop on Thursday night, December 28, 2023, at 10:36 PM, Paris Police pulled over a pickup truck in the 2500 Block of East Price Street for a failure to signal a turn. The truck, occupied by three individuals, raised suspicions when the driver, identified as Ruby Ann Stallings, 45, was found to have two outstanding Class “C” Municipal Court Warrants.
Upon further investigation, officers discovered methamphetamine inside Stallings' purse at the scene. During the booking process, a single small white pill was found, identified as Quetiapine Fumarate 50mg, a prescription-only medication that Stallings did not have in her possession.
Consequently, Ruby Ann Stallings faces charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Meth and Possession of a Dangerous Drug-Quetiapine Fumarate.
