In the early hours of Thursday, December 20, 2023, Paris Police officers engaged in a pursuit with an SUV on Bonham St. The incident unfolded around 3:00 AM when officers attempted to stop the vehicle, prompting the SUV to flee eastward on Bonham. The chase concluded when the SUV crashed into a building situated on the northeast corner of the Plaza.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Upon further investigation, law enforcement determined that the SUV in question had been reported stolen from an address on Bonham St. The suspects, who were driving the stolen vehicle, abandoned it at the crash site and fled on foot.
The collision resulted in the total loss of the stolen SUV, and the building on the northeast corner of the Plaza sustained significant damage. Authorities are actively working to locate and apprehend the suspects involved in the incident.
