On December 17, 2023, the Harrison County Sheriff's Office responded to a distress call reporting an impending assault and property damage at a residence on the 5200 block of FM 2625 in Marshall.
Upon arrival, deputies found 56-year-old David Earl Henigan of Marshall engaged in an active assault with the complainant and a family member. The complainant had previously informed authorities about the potential threat.
In response to the situation, deputies took quick action, apprehending Henigan. He has been charged with Assault Family Violence impeding breath.
