Paris Police officers responded to a disturbance call involving a firearm on Tuesday afternoon at 1:53 PM. The incident unfolded in the 2000 block of W. Campbell.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers encountered 27-year-old Brianna Nicole Law, who was in possession of a handgun. Law, who had reportedly forced entry into a residence, was found to have threatened a family member with the firearm.
Law was promptly disarmed and detained by the responding officers. Further investigation revealed that she had outstanding municipal warrants issued by the Paris Police Department.
Brianna Nicole Law now faces charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, in addition to the misdemeanor warrants.
