Subsequent investigation revealed that Jeffery was intoxicated, leading to his arrest for Driving While Intoxicated.
Further probing into the initial disturbance uncovered that Jeffery had recently departed a residence on Cherry St. where he allegedly attempted to run over victims with his vehicle. Authorities collected evidence at the scene and subsequently charged Jeffery with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon against a family member, a second-degree felony.
