A multi-vehicle crash on TX-31 in Smith County claimed the life of 20-year-old Aidan R. Kelley from Chandler and left four others injured.
The incident occurred when 18-year-old Cameron S. Reeves of Hawkins, heading westbound, collided with eastbound vehicles driven by 67-year-old Robert T. Pierzchalski of Henderson and 40-year-old Cory D. Threadgill of Gladewater. Kelley, the passenger in Reeves' vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The injuries sustained by the other individuals involved were reported as non-life-threatening, according to troopers.
The investigation is ongoing.
