Fatal Shooting at Terrell Club: Suspect in Custody

On Sunday, December 3, 2023, at 2:02 am, Terrell Police responded to a shots fired call at the Swing Doors Club, located at 304 FM 148. The incident resulted in the tragic death of 27-year-old Bryan Squires, a resident of Terrell.

According to the investigation, Squires had sustained gunshot wounds during an altercation that occurred in the club. The dispute reportedly began when 34-year-old Nicholas Longoria of Terrell and his girlfriend engaged in an argument with a group of individuals inside the Swing Doors Club. The disagreement escalated, eventually spilling into the club's parking lot.

In the course of the altercation, Longoria allegedly shot Bryan Squires. Emergency services were promptly called to the scene, and Squires was swiftly transported to Baylor Scott and White in Forney. Despite efforts to save his life, Squires succumbed to his injuries.

Numerous witnesses were interviewed, providing statements that implicated Nicholas Longoria as the suspect in the shooting. Later that morning, Longoria was apprehended from his vehicle on unrelated charges. Subsequently, he was charged with murder.
