Two Inmates Escape from Fannin County Jail

In a daring escape from the Fannin County Jail on Saturday night around 9 p.m., two inmates managed to break free from the south annex building. The individuals, identified as 35-year-old Raymond Parish Ross of Ivanhoe, Texas, and Raymond Perez, allegedly used the air conditioning ducts to make their getaway. Authorities were alerted to their absence only an hour and a half later.

Court documents reveal that Raymond Ross was due for a court appearance on November 29, 2023, related to charges of burglary of vehicles with previous convictions (enhanced) and an attempt to commit tampering/fabricating physical evidence with the intent to impair.

Raymond Perez, on the other hand, was incarcerated for "Aggravated Sexual Assault Of Child" before the escape.

The suspects were last seen wearing gray sweats, fleeing on foot towards a wooded area.  Ross and Perez, are still on the loose, and law enforcement is actively pursuing their whereabouts.
