On November 21, 2023, a Winnsboro Police Department Officer initiated a traffic stop in the 200 block of Washington Street in Winnsboro, encountering Vincent Darnelle Jones. During the interaction, the officer attempted to detain Jones, who successfully fled the scene.
Despite the swift response of additional units to the area, Jones could not be located. Warrants have been issued for his arrest. The Winnsboro Police Department is now seeking assistance from the public in locating Vincent Darnelle Jones.
Records indicate that on August 1, 2023, Jones was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
