Fatal Fire Engulfs Car in Tragic Paris Road Crash

On Tuesday, November 21, at 12:22 pm, emergency services in Paris were dispatched to the 3800 block of Jefferson Road in response to a major single-car accident. The incident involved a 2004 Pontiac 4-door that was traveling northwest on Jefferson.

The vehicle veered off the roadway, colliding with a utility pole before coming to a stop. Upon impact, the car caught fire, quickly becoming fully engulfed in flames by the time emergency responders arrived at the scene.

The driver and front passenger managed to escape the burning vehicle and were swiftly transported to Paris Regional Health Hospital by EMS for medical attention. Unfortunately, a third occupant seated in the rear of the car was pronounced deceased at the scene.

In the aftermath of the tragedy, the Paris Accident Reconstruction Team has taken charge of the investigation.
