A Paris police officer responded to a series of distressing incidents on Saturday night, involving one victim and two suspects. At 7:44 PM, authorities received reports of a robbery, an injury to a child, elderly, or disabled person with the intent of bodily harm, and unlawful restraint.
The second phase of the investigation led the officer to Paris Regional Health, where they made contact with a 71-year-old male victim. The victim, described as calm despite the harrowing ordeal, reported being physically assaulted by a 47-year-old mother and her 19-year-old son. The assailants allegedly stole the victim's cell phone, forcibly confined him in his hotel room, and issued threats to his life if he attempted to escape.
The resilient victim recounted managing to open a window and crawl to safety outside, seeking assistance.
The investigation is ongoing.
