In the morning hours of Thursday, November 17, 2023, at approximately 11:37, a Paris Police officer conducted a routine traffic stop in the 100 block of Lamar Avenue. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Brian Joseph Clark. During the stop, it was discovered that Clark lacked proof of insurance and failed to produce a valid driver's license.
A subsequent pat-down of Clark yielded the discovery of narcotics and a significant amount of cash. Further investigation, including an inventory of the vehicle, revealed additional substantial quantities of drugs. This led law enforcement to suspect that Clark was engaged in the sale of controlled substances rather than personal use.
As a result, Brian Joseph Clark was apprehended and charged with Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a first-degree felony.
